HiCookie sets a new world record for RAM frequency. Indeed, HiCookie has just pushed the limits of DDR5 a little further with a new RAM overclocking world record. This time, the new barrier is 13034 MT/s. On October 17, Sergamann broke the symbolic 13000 MT/s barrier.

HiCookie, armed with its Z890 Aorus Tachyon Ice, pushes DDR5 to 13034 MT/s!

In fact, the clocker was armed with a Core Ultra 9 285K coupled with ADATA memory, Lancer RGB. As for the motherboard, it’s a Z890 Aorus Tachyon Ice, designed for extremeOC.

During the exercise, we found a processor running only on its performance cores, since the E-Core was deactivated. As for the memory, it only ran on a single module. In all cases, liquid nitrogen was used to keep everything cool. In all cases, memory reached 13034 MT/s, with timings of 68-127-127-127-2.

Of course, we expect frequencies to continue rising in the future. In addition, Gigabyte holds the Top 3 records for RAM overclocking. So, in first place, we have HiCookie with this score on Z890 Aorus Tachyon. Second place is held by Sergmann with a frequency of 13009 MT/s on Z890 Aorus Tachyon. Finally, third place goes to Bullshooter at 13003.6 MT/s, again on the same motherboard.

With this Z890 Aorus Tachyon Ice, Gigabyte has done a hell of a job, positioning the board ahead of XoC models from ASUS, MSI and ASRock!
