0

As was the case for Corsair this morning, GSKill has just announced the availability of its new Trident Z5 Neo and Flare X5 memory kits. The particularity of these kits is that they are compatible with the next AMD motherboards and support the EXPO technology that we talked about in this brief.

EXPO Memory Overclocking Technology:

Introduced with the latest DDR5-compatible AMD AM5 platform, EXPO (Extended Profiles for Overclocking) profiles allow users to easily overclock supported memory kits. Simply enable the EXPO profile in the BIOS with a compatible motherboard and processor.

Trident Z5 Neo and Neo RGB series:

Built and designed for overclocked memory performance on the latest AMD AM5 platform, the Trident Z5 Neo and Trident Z5 Neo RGB series are designed with chips sorted to offer excellent performance but also good overclocking potential. The matte black heatsink is found and combined with a brushed aluminum insert, highlight strips are also added for the Neo’s signature metallic shine.

The RGB version features a full-length light diffuser. The Trident Z5 NEO RGB LED lighting can be customized via G.SKILL Trident Z Lighting Control software or supported third-party lighting control software.

Flare X5 series:

Available in a matte black finish and built with hand-selected ICs, the Flare X5 memory kits are designed for the new DDR5-capable AMD AM5 platforms.

Featuring a low-profile module height of 33mm, the Flare X5 is an excellent choice for compact builds. We have not yet received pricing information, but here is a table that lists the different frequencies available as well as the timings and voltages.
