A little tour at Cooler Master who announces the arrival of two new screens, the GM Series. On the program, we find the GM27-CFX and GM34-CWQ aRGB, 27″ and 34″ monitors respectively.

Cooler Master GM Series

GM27-CFX: a 27″ curved screen at 1500R!

We start with the smaller of the two, the GM27-CFX, which has a diagonal of 27″. Its 8-bit VA panel with Quantum Dots is curved at 1500R and offers an FHD resolution in 1920 x 1080, which is still quite “low” for the current standards. However, it compensates for this resolution with a strong responsiveness since the latency is 0.5 ms MPRT and the frequency is 240 Hz!

At the display level, we are entitled to a brightness of 400 nits and a contrast of 3000:1. The viewing angles are 178° (horizontal and vertical) while the DCI-P3 coverage is 98%. Finally, it has a DisplayHDR400 compatibility.

GM34-CWQ ARGB : a 21:9 model !

We finish with the largest model of the two, the GM34-CWQ ARGB and its diagonal of 34″. We find a monitor with a 21:9 format and a UWQHD resolution of 3440 x 1440. As for its 27″ counterpart, it also has an 8-bit VA panel with Quantum Dots technology. It is also curved at 1500R.

The responsiveness is also good since we find a latency of 0.5 ms MPRT according to Cooler Master. For the frequency, we are at 144 Hz which is also very comfortable.

On the display side, we have values close to the GM27-CFX with a brightness of 400 nits. The contrast is a little more pronounced with its ratio of 4000:1, but the DCI-P3 coverage remains unchanged: 98%. Ditto, for the viewing angles at 178 ° in all directions.

We finish by mentioning the presence of an adjustable foot in all directions for these two references. However, this 34″ version has an additional RGB lighting.

The prices !

As for the price, it will cost $369 for the 27″ version against $649 for the 34″.
