GeForce 572.75 Hotfix: another fix for black screens…

0

There really is a problem with black screens and NVIDIA’s RTX 5000s. It’s a problem that’s been with us since launch, and neither patches nor WHQL drivers have corrected the problem so far… So much so, that the brand is launching a new corrective driver, a Hotfix as they say in the jargon. Make way for 572.75 Hotfix!

GeForce 572.75 Hotfix: the fixes :

536.09 HotFix - GeForce 572.75 Hotfix

There’s nothing new here: the aim of Hotfixes is to quickly correct an annoying problem. Furthermore, this version is based on GeForce 572.70 WHQL. In terms of fixes, NVIDIA announces :

  • RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 may not run at full speed on overclocked systems after reboot [5088034].
  • Black screen crashes on cards from the RTX 50 series have been corrected [5120886].

Broadly speaking, NVIDIA is dedicating its third driver to correcting these black screens. Let’s hope this time it’s the right one, as it’s been a long time coming. It should be remembered that versions 572.60 and 572.70 already provided fixes for this problem, obviously without ever fully resolving it. Now, to download this version, go to the link below:
