After the watercooling kits, it’s time for cases, with the announcement of a new H5 Flow. This new model was announced during Gamescom, where we were able to attend an event organized by ASUS.
H5 Flow: a new edition of the NZXT case!
Clearly, this new H5 Flow is directly inspired by the new design introduced by their latest H7. The case emphasizes mesh metal throughout, on the front, top and power supply compartment.
Unfortunately, this new version will not be compatible with “zero cable” motherboards… But by way of consolation, we finally find compatibility with 360 mm watercooling radiators. Indeed, the previous version of the case was only compatible with 240/280 mm radiators.
As for NZXT, the assembly experience should be rather good, since Velcro strips will be found on the back of the motherboard tray. However, the cage allocated to the storage units doesn’t seem to be up to the task. Finally, as regards cooling, the base version comes with two F120Q fans by default. The RGB model benefits from an F360 RGB Core (triple fan on a single frame) and a small F120Q at the rear.
Availability is set for this autumn at prices of $129.99 and $149.99 for both RGB and non-RGB models.
