Before the RTX 4090 was banned from China, Galax planned to launch a commemorative version, the 20Th Anniversary. It was launched, but only for a very short time, since shortly afterwards the card was withdrawn from the shelves due to US sanctions. To make up for this, an RTX 4070 20Th Anniversary was announced, and the card is now launched!
RTX 4070 20Th Anniversary: the card priced at €772 (5,999 yuan)!
Naturally, this card is strongly inspired by the 4090 of the same name. That’s why it has an all-white casing, and the same goes for the PCB. Ventilation is provided by three fans, two of which are located on the front panel. The last fan forms the “0” of the “20” on the rear of the board. The cooling system is similar to that of NVIDIA’s Founders Edition, but with an extra fan.
This board also benefits from an interesting feature: a compartment to hide the power connector. In fact, the backplate has a removable section that allows you to hide the 12VHPWR power cable. At least, you’ll have a clean installation in your PC.
As a reminder, this model comes with factory overclocking. The GPU boost will go up to 2610 MHz where the reference card runs at 2475 MHz in default boost. As far as video outputs are concerned, we have three DisplayPorts complemented by one HDMI.
Finally, the price of this card will be high: 5,999 yuan (€772 after conversion). At this price, the 4070 is one of the most expensive on the market!
