From Galax China, we learn that the brand has just unveiled a new 20th Anniversary card. Indeed, after offering an RTX 4090, the brand has now unveiled an RTX 4070 20th Anniversary. It has to be said that the 4090’s ban in China came at a particularly bad time. As a reminder, the brand had just unveiled its card – ouch!
RTX 4070 20th Anniversary, an alternative to the RTX 4090 of the same name?
We already have a certain amount of information about it. We already know that the card is 33 cm long, with a footprint of over 2 slots. What’s more, the card’s design is similar to that of the RTX 4090 of the same name. As a result, we find ourselves with an all-white card, featuring three fans. Two of these are located on the front of the card.
On the rear, there’s a backplate with an opening for the integration of the third fan, in the “0” format of the “20th”. There’s also a removable part to conceal this model’s power connector.
In terms of frequency, this is a card that runs at 1920 MHz as standard, and can reach 2610 MHz in performance mode. Note that the reference card operates at 2475 MHz in boost mode. Power consumption has been revised upwards to 215W, compared with 200W for NVIDIA’s Founders Edition .
For the time being, no retail price is known.
