EVGA launches a new power supply series with its SuperNOVA G7 Series. It is about power supplies with a load indicator, directly integrated on the casing.
G7 Series: four EVGA power supplies with power indicator!
With this new series, EVGA offers a total of four power supplies. The powers start from 650W and go up crescendo: 750W, 850W and 1000W for the most powerful model.
With this, we can count on a fully modular cable management as well as 80+ Gold certification. Internally, we have the right to 100% Japanese capacitors. The blocks are designed with a LLC controller resonating in half-bridge and we will find a DC-DC converter. Finally, as for the protections, we have the right to OVP, UVP, OCP, SCP and OTP.
The cooling is entrusted to a fan FDB 120 mm offering a semi-passive operation. This last one will start only from 50% of load.
Finally, the originality of this series lies in the power indicator directly integrated into the casing. Via a system of LEDs, we will know, on five levels, which will be the level of charge of the power supply.
Unfortunately, the prices are not cheap as they start at $159.99 for the 650W model and end at $239.99 for the 1kW version. The 750W and 850W models are priced at $169.99 and $189.99 respectively. The warranty is 10 years.
