MSI announced a new gaming oriented monitor with G2722. Indeed, we find a model with a rather basic resolution, but which offers a good reactivity. We look at what it offers.
G2722: a gaming oriented MSI monitor !
On the program, MSI announces a screen with an IPS slab displaying a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080). Moreover, the reactivity is good with a refresh rate of 170 Hz. Ditto for the latency with 1 ms MPRT. And on the synchronization side, it is compatible with AMD ‘s technology: FreeSync Premium.
Regarding the panel now, we know that it offers a brightness of 250 nits and a contrast ratio of 1100:1. In terms of color range, the brand announces a coverage of 101.91% of the sRGB spectrum, 81.1% of DCP-P3 and 85.67% of Adobe RGB.
Beside that, we have the right to a relatively basic foot. The navigation in the menus of the screen will be via a directional joystick. Finally, as far as video inputs are concerned, we have two HDMI and one DisplayPort.
Currently, we do not know the selling price, however, in terms of characteristics, it should not rise very high. We will also remember the reference of the model, which, for once, is not fifty characters long.
