At Seasonic, we learn that the brand updates some power supplies. This is notably the case of the SFX series and more particularly the Focus SPX 2021 and SGX 2021. These models are especially compact!
Focus SPX 2021: more compact power supplies!
The 80+ Gold and 80+ Platinum certified SFX series of power supplies are therefore getting a 2021 sauce update. In addition to the redesign of the shell, these power supplies gain in compactness since they are only 10 cm deep against 12.5 cm for the old ones.
In terms of power, the SPX series has two different wattages: 650W and 750W. The biggest model will be available in white. Concerning the Gold series, there are three power ratings: 550W, 650W and 750W. Of course, whatever the model, the cables are fully modular!
Inside, each reference benefits from a fan with an FDB type bearing with semi-passive operation. Likewise, all the electrical protections on the market are present: OPP, OVP, UVP, OCP, OTP and SCP.
Of course, Seasonic is confident in its power supplies, which is why they are guaranteed for 10 years. Clearly, we have something to look forward to!
