Back to the RTX 5060 (Ti), whose box design, presumably from Zotac, is circulating on the Internet… And more particularly on TikTok. Indeed, the Chinese platform features two graphics card boxes that turn out to be fakes. BenchLife explains why!

RTX 5060: watch out for fake Zotac boxes!

Boîte RTX 5060 TiAs you can see, the boxes in question feature entry/mid-range NVIDIA graphics cards from the 60 series. If you look closely, they also feature the cards’ VRAM capacity: 16 GB in both cases. But something doesn’t add up. Admittedly, the Ti version should offer two memory capacities: 8 and 16 GB in GDDR7, like the RTX 4060 Ti. On the non-Ti 5060 side, however, this seems highly unlikely. In fact, BenchLife has checked with a partner whose assertions would support this view.

On the other hand, the boxes in question highlight DLSS 3, which also seems highly unlikely. Indeed, if we were dealing with original boxes, it’s highly likely that DLSS 4 would be highlighted.

Finally, after examination, it would appear that these boxes are reworked versions of Zotac’s RTX 4070 Ti Super Trinity OC White. What’s more, it would appear that the chameleon still hasn’t provided its partners with a box model, so… Leaks of this kind are not to be taken seriously for the moment… Even more so for those featuring finished and packaged boxes.

Otherwise, we expect NVIDIA to launch this 60 series after the RTX 5070 (Ti). This way, the company will have launched all its high-end models, leaving only the entry/mid-range to be released. As for the launch date, we’re expecting it to go on sale in March, at the same time as AMD’s RX 9070 series.
