Extreme Odyssey II, a thermal pad with high conductivity

Thermalright announces the arrival of a new thermal pad. The company is launching its Extreme Odyssey II, a model whose thermal conductivity is claimed to be high!

Extreme Odyssey II: a thermal conductivity of 14.8 W/m.K!

Thermalright Extreme Odyssey IIThermalright presents a thermal pad with high thermal conductivity. This is announced at 14.8 W/m.K, which is higher than good thermal pastes. For example, Thermal Grizzly’s Kryonaut is 12.5 W/m.K.

Of course, this pad can also be used to cool SSDs or RAM, which are the main areas of application. However, its non-conductive nature means it can also be used to dissipate heat from a graphics card’s VRAM or a motherboard’s VRMs, for example.

Two main formats are available, with the first pad measuring 84 x 45 mm. The second, larger pad is cut to size: 120 x 120 mm. Finally, there are several thicknesses to choose from: 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm and 4 mm for the 85 x 45 mm pad. As for the largest pad, it will be available in 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm and 3 mm.

No price has yet been announced. However, the first-generation pad (12.8 W/m.K) can already be found on Amazon for between €10.99 and €17.49
