With its Elox Series case, the Chieftec brand offers us a new case with a rather basic design and features. So, without further ado, let’s see what the brand has in store for us.
Elox Series: a rather basic case!
With this new model, the Chieftec brand offers us a new case in medium tower format. The dimensions are rather compact with 212 (W) x 405 (D) x 462 (H) mm. The weight is also rather light with 4,29 kg on the scale. And for the choice of materials, we have a front in plastic imitation brushed aluminum and steel of 0.5 mm thick.
Internally, we find compatibility with an ATX motherboard at the maximum. Otherwise, the power supply will be able to measure 180 mm in depth, the ventirad 170 mm in height and the CG 320 mm in length.
The storage will be able to accommodate up to two 2.5″ units and two others in 3.5″. Indeed, a HDD cage with two slots is present as well as two small plates at the back of the motherboard tray.
For ventilation, we have six slots for 120mm fans. Three of them are present in the front, two in the top and one in the back. For watercooling, unfortunately, we only have the possibility to install a 280 mm radiator in the front.
At the moment, the selling price is not known, although the bill should not rise very high.
