EKWB is now attacking the big server platforms from Intel. The Slovenian brand proposes waterblocks for Xeon platforms in LGA-4677. Two models are proposed, including one specially designed for rack servers!

As you can see, the blocks in question, the “EK-Pro CPU WB 4677 Ni + Acetal” and “EK-Pro CPU WB 4677 Rack Ni + Acetal” are rather large. The reason for their large size is that they have to cover the IHS of a LGA-4677 CPU perfectly. Roughly speaking, the processor has dimensions close to those of a 2.5″ SSD.
On the other hand, we notice that the mounting screws are directly present on the blocks. The installation will therefore be simple since once the CPU is mounted on the motherboard, all that remains is to screw the block onto the socket.
Finally, two versions are offered. The first one has three G1/4″ ports on the top while the second one has four on the sides. If the first block is ideal for more conventional machines, the second one is more suitable for rack servers.
We finish by mentioning the sales price of these blocks which is €146.91 directly on the brand’s store!
