New from EKWB who announces the arrival of a new waterblock. This time, the Slovenian brand attacks the SP5 platform by offering a dedicated block. This time, the company will have put the time, remember that the platform was released in November 2022.
SP5: an EKWB waterblock for the AMD server platform!
In the program, we have the right to two blocks whose threads are located in different places. For professional platforms, motherboards are sometimes housed in 1U racks of low height. That’s why we have ports either on the top or on the slices of waterblocks.
The “basic” version then offers a total of three G1/4″ threads on the top of the block. On the other hand, with the ” rack ” model, there are no less than four G1/8″ ports located on the edges.
In all cases, we have the right to a nickel-plated copper base. The upper part, on the other hand, is made of POM acetal and is CNC machined. Finally, the mounting system consists of a total of six anchor points with spring screws. The objective is to prevent any form of error during assembly and to distribute the pressure evenly on the processor.
