For several years now, Lian Li has been offering a series of cases/desktops. The concept is simple: unite the PC and the desktop in a single unit. The aim is clear: to save space. Today, we learn that the brand is launching a new model with the DK-07 Wook, a reference that benefits from a walnut wood main tray. Of course, the height is always adjustable!
DK-07: an adjustable desk case, but in walnut!
A large desk case!
With this model, we’re dealing with a reference that offers an imposing top, measuring 148 (W) x 87.7 (D) x 67.7 to 116.2 (H) cm. Yes, we’ll be able to adjust the height of the tray to best suit your height, as well as enjoying a sit/stand experience.
Internally, we’ve got plenty of room, since this model supports motherboards up toE-ATX. As for the graphics card, we’re talking 383 mm deep, with the option of mounting it vertically or horizontally. Otherwise, there’s 180 mm of height clearance for the CPU ventirad and 220 mm for the power supply.
However, the other advantage of such a model is the possibility of housing two E-ATX configurations in the same compartment!
Watercooling integration capabilities:
When it comes to watercooling, Lian Li is highlighting the high capacity of this case. In dual configuration, it will be possible to install one 480/420 mm radiator or two 360/280/240 mm models. In single configuration mode, we have two 360/280 mm slots on either side of the motherboard, plus one 480/420/2×360/2×280/2×240 mm slot.
As for ventilation, it will be possible to fit up to twelve 120 mm fans in single configuration and 17 in single configuration. However, 140 mm compatibility doesn’t go far: 4 fans.
Plenty of options :
Last but not least, we’d like to point out that this desktop case features a number of options. For example, it incorporates an LED display for tray height. Other interesting options include an integrated wireless charging system and discreet cable channels for keyboard cables and other peripherals. There’s also a cable management system for the component compartment, etc.
A price that really stings
Before buying such a model, you’ll clearly need to save a few months. In fact, the bill officially comes to €1,399.90 in EU. So if you’re on minimum wage, you’ll only have about thirty euros left to make ends meet… Definitely not the kind of product you buy on a whim.
