There was a time when desk-cases were all the rage, and we heard about them regularly… Then it was all over. However, Lian Li is resurrecting the concept with its DK07, a new motorised model that is particularly expensive, costing over $1000!
DK07: a new desktop case from Lian Li!
The concept behind this product is well known, as it’s simply a motorised desk that houses your configuration in its main tray. This model is designed for E-ATX motherboards and can even accommodate two cards of this format for a dual configuration.
Internally, there’s plenty of space with the 383 mm long graphics card support and a 180 mm high ventirad. The power supply simply has to be less than 220 mm deep.
Otherwise, the fan can accommodate a total of 17 120 mm fans with a single motherboard. In a dual configuration, the fan will have 12 120 mm slots. For watercooling, there will be room for a maximum of 360 mm radiators.
Finally, the impressive dimensions are 148 (W) x 80.5 (D) cm. The height can be adjusted from 67.6 cm to 116.2 cm. Adjustment is via a touch-sensitive selector that can store up to three different height profiles.
Now, to afford this model, you’ll need to be at least a little wealthy, as the advertised price is $1,399.99!
