Dell, via its Alienware brand, offers us a new pre-assembled machine. The program includes a new configuration for the Aurora R15. The machine is equipped with a 13th-generation Core i and an Intel Arc A770 graphics card!

Aurora R15: new configuration based on Intel Arc GPUs!

Dell Alienware Aurora R15For Intel, this is good news, as the brand can now see its CPUs and GPUs coexist in pre-assembled systems. And we’re not talking about a small assembler, DELL being a major player in the field.

In this case, the Aurora R15 configurator offers the Arc A770 as a possible graphics card. The latter, coupled with a Core i7 13700F (non-overclockable) and 16 GB RAM, represents the most affordable configuration… a configuration nevertheless priced at $1949.

Thereafter, the configurator lets you upgrade the processor with Core i7 13700KF, Core i9 13900F and Core i9 13900KF. As for graphics, for an extra $50, you can upgrade to an RTX 4070, which may have less memory, but is capable of delivering clearly superior performance.

Finally, all that remains is to know what type of card you’re talking about. As we told you in the news, the reference card has been discontinued by Intel. It wouldn’t be surprising to see an in-house-designed board inside this machine.
