On March 19, Crimson Desert (the NVIDIA driver is already available), an open-world RPG, will be available. With the game set to arrive on Thursday, March 19, the studio behind the title has published the system requirements to run it. Surprisingly, these are particularly affordable, even in UHD with ultra graphics settings!

Crimson Desert: affordable system requirements to play!

Crimson Desert config PC

At a minimum, we’re aiming for a frame rate of 30 FPS in 1080p, with graphics settings set to minimum. Under these conditions, you won’t need a powerhouse, as the graphics require an RX 5500 XT or a GTX 1060. The CPU requirements are a Ryzen 5 2600X or a Core i5 8500. If you set the graphics settings to low, still aiming for 30FPS in 1080p, you’ll need a more powerful GPU: an RX 6500 XT or a GTX 1660. Otherwise, there’s no change in terms of the processor.

The recommended configuration will allow you to reach 60 FPS or 30 FPS in UHD (?) with medium detail. Here, the graphics section mentions an RX 6700 XT or an RTX 2080. As for the CPU, a model equipped with six cores seems to be the minimum: Ryzen 5 5600 or Core i5 11600K.

If you want to play with high graphics settings in 1440p at 60FPS, you’ll need an RX 7700 XT or an RTX 4070, coupled with a Ryzen 5 7600X or a Core i5 12600K. Finally, for Ultra in UHD at 60 FPS, the studio recommends an RX 9070 XT or an RTX 4070 Ti. The CPU requirements remain the same for AMD, but you’ll need an Intel Core i5 13600K.

As for RAM, all of this will work on a configuration equipped with 16 GB of memory, while 150 GB of SSD storage space is recommended.

In short, as we’ve seen, the game aims to be affordable in terms of hardware configuration… Especially in UHD. We’ve seen recent games be much more demanding. It remains to be seen what will happen when the game is released.
