Corsair is also working on memory modules with its Vengeance CUDIMM. As a reminder, this new type of RAM has an additional component, the CKD. The CKD enables a better rise in frequencies by adjusting voltages/frequencies according to the workload. In any case, thanks to VideoCardz, we now know what the RGB version of Corsair’s memory looks like!
Vengeance CUDIMM, Corsair’s RAM shows off!
While the classic Vengeance memory benefits from ‘standard’ heatsinks in black or white, this is not the case with this series. We discovered the non-RGB series last October, and the memory was adorned with an attractive chrome heatsink with a beautiful mirror effect. However, we hadn’t had a glimpse of the RGB series, and now we have.
Of course, Corsair has added the classic light bar to the top of the heatsink. However, the triangular patterns in the cooling system are the subject of debate. Are they illuminated by an RGB system or are they an iridescent effect? We’re leaning towards the second option.
As for frequencies, this type of RAM has the ability to climb very high. Once again, last October, the RAM presented was already running at 10,000 MT/s… And that’s without mentioning the multiple memory frequency records involving this type of module.
