Once again, Corsair enters the aircooling market with an imposing heatsink: the A115. The latter adopts an imposing 140 mm double-tower format, capable of handling up to 270W of TDP.

A115: double tower in 140 mm, handling TDPs of up to 270W!

Corsair A115This heatsink is an imposing model measuring 153 (W) x 155 (D) x 164.8 (H) mm. Clearly, once mounted, it will obstruct all your memory slots. Fortunately, it is possible to raise the front-mounted fan on a rail.

While at first glance the product looks well finished with its coating, we’re a little disappointed by the treatment reserved for the upper part without a cover. All in all, you’ll have to make do with a simple Corsair logo spelled out on one of the two fin stacks. We’re not up with the competition in this respect.

Otherwise, it offers a nickel-plated copper base with pre-applied thermal paste as standard, from the XTM70. From this base, a total of six 6 mm copper heat pipes spread across two cooling towers, each with 45 aluminum fins.

Ventilation is provided by a duo of AF140 Elite fans operating at up to 1600 rpm. At full speed, these fans generate 84.5 CFM of airflow and a static pressure of 1.73 mmH2O.

This high-performance package will rival models such as DeepCool ‘s Assassin IV or Cooler Master’s MA824 Stealth!

The official price is €114.90. Availability has not yet been confirmed (although it is displayed at Amazon), but it should be arriving gradually on our shelves.
