A new find in the GeekBench database is a Core i9 14901KE. It’s a rather unusual CPU, since it only has P-Cores. Clearly, this is a model launched on the sly by the blues.

Core i9 14901KE: only P-Cores!

Core i9 14901KE

This CPU is a rather unusual model in that it has no E-Core. The processor is powered by a total of 8 P-Cores Raptor Cove and has a total of 16 threads. In terms of frequencies, we’re talking about a 3.8 GHz base, an increase of 600 MHz compared with a 14900K, although it is slower in boost mode with its 5.8 GHz. Finally, the TDP is 125W, in line with other K CPUs of this generation.

In terms of scores, the processor achieved 3,018 pts in single-core mode against 16,308 pts in multi-core mode. These results place this reference between the i9 14900K and 14700KF in single core and between a 12900K and a 13700K in multi-core… It has to be said that these references benefit from extra E-Cores!

Clearly, these processors were launched on the sly by the blues. This model ended up on a server at a company that hosts online game servers. That’s why the configuration includes 128 GB of RAM.
