0

At Computex, be quiet! was also present with a whole host of cases. These included the new-generation Dark Base with a Pro 901 model and a 701 version. Finally, the Shadow Base series made its appearance and seems to be optimized for airflow!

Dark Base Pro 901, the new flagship!

be quiet! Dark Base Pro 901With this new model, the brand continues to offer cases with a removable motherboard tray that can be arranged in reverse. Likewise, the front panel and top section are removable to promote either silence or airflow. In addition, the control panel becomes touch-sensitive, while the phone’s wireless charging evolves to deliver up to 15W of power. Finally, 420 mm watercooling radiators can be installed on the front panel.

Dark Base 701, smaller but just as modular!

be quiet! Dark Base 701With the Dark Base 701, be quiet! intends to offer a case just as modular as the Pro 901. It features a removable motherboard tray that can be tilted into reverse. However, the 420 mm radiator support has been omitted in favor of 360 mm models. A mesh front panel maximizes airflow, while standard ventilation features three Silent Wings 4 mills, compared with four on the Dark Base Pro 900. Finally, the front panel features two RGB edgings, as on the current model.

Shadow Base 800: a new series is born!

be quiet! Shadow Base 800The Shadow Base 800 is a brand-new series created by be quiet! This model is available in three different versions:

  • Basic model: without RGB lighting, but comes with three Pure Wings 3
  • DX version: with RGB front lighting
  • FX version: with four Light Wings fans and RGB front lighting

Otherwise, the DX and FX versions are available in black or white. Likewise, it accepts 420 mm radiator mounting at the top or on the front. The case is optimized for airflow, offers tool-free SSD/HDD mounting, and accommodates E-ATX motherboards and large graphics cards. Of course, depending on the version, aRGB and/or PWM controllers are available.
