Biostar does not only make motherboards, the proof is in the new memory kits. The proof is in the form of its new memory kits. Biostar has announced its Storming-V, DDR4 sets.
Storming-V series: DDR4 RAM from Biostar!
Biostar offers several memory kits. These are available in capacities of 8GB or 16GB, all on a single strip. Of course, the frequencies are far from being as high as in DDR5 since these modules run respectively at 3200 MT/s and 3600 MT/s. As for the timing, the slowest kits show CAS latency in CL16 against CL18 for the fastest memory. Finally, for the voltages, the brand is not demanding: 1.35V.
Otherwise, we can notice the presence of a heatsink whose color tends to be green. The latter is devoid of lighting system, a choice that can be interesting if you do not like RGB diodes in all directions. However, Biostar does not specify its height, but it is not impossible that it will cause problems with air cooling fans.
Unfortunately, we don’t know yet the selling price of these modules… But the bill should not be very high anyway.
