New heatsink from Thermalright which announces a new compact cooling unit. This time, we turn to a 90 mm format, top flow, with a height limited to only 53 mm. Here is the AXP90-X53 !
AXP90-X53 : a 53 mm high top flow cooler from Thermalright !
On the program, we find compact dimensions with a product measuring 94.5 (W) x 95 (D) x 53 (H) mm. The weight is also limited: 540 g on the scale.
The radiator itself has a high density of aluminum fins. Indeed, there are 54 fins spaced 1.6 mm apart. Moreover, this set is crossed by a total of four heat pipes in nickel-plated copper of 6 mm each. This set is joined at the level of a copper base with a mirror finish.
Ventilation is provided by a small PWM powered TL-9015B fan. It will run up to 2700 RPM. At full speed, it will generate an airflow of 42.58 CFM and a static pressure of 1.33 mmH2O. Note also the slim profile of the latter: only 15 mm high.
Regarding the compatibility of sockets, you can imagine that with these dimensions, it will not be able to “tank” large TDP. This is why it is only intended for “common” sockets. It can only be installed on Intel LGA-1000 and AMD AM5/AM4/AM3 sockets.
