RTX 3060 Ti:Asus cards move to GDDR6X 19 Gbps!

Asus RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X On the menu, Asus renews its series of cards based on RTX 3060 Ti. Some series, like the Dual receive a new visual that changes the current series. The new models receive a more rounded design with white or gray borders depending on the color. Indeed, Asus offers a black Dual and a Dual White. Finally, this series is also 39 mm shorter than the first series.

Of course, in the lot, the TUF Gaming version also benefits from new memory chips. However, this model does not seem to benefit from any visual or other changes. The card is still as imposing as ever with its three fans and 2.7 slot thickness.

Nevertheless, the switch to GDDR6X at 19 Gbps will have a negative effect on the power supply connectivity. As a result, the cards now require a dual 8-pin PCIe connector as opposed to a single one, especially for the older Duals.

Now, it remains to be seen if the sales price will explode compared to the models equipped with GDDR6 memory.
