Apex 3 TKL: a water-resistant TKL keyboard!

SteelSeries Apex 3 TKLFor its keyboard, SteelSeries highlights the TKL format, without numeric keypad, but with navigation keys anyway. According to the brand, this format is very popular in eSports and by gamers, precisely because of the space saved by the lack of numeric keys.

In short, this new model features an IP32 certification, making it water and dust resistant. Ideal if you’re a bit clumsy and the kind of person who drinks your tea, coffee, or whatever on your desk. A little accident happens so quickly…

Despite this, this model does not offer much on paper since we are facing a membrane. Nevertheless, we can count on a full RGB backlight on 10 zones. Unlike a mecha keyboard, we have a 24-Key Roll Over and the antighosting is not integral.

Besides that, we can count on a high quality polymer base (according to the brand) with the look of the series. Similarly, under the keyboard, three cable passages are present. That said, it remains to be seen whether the cable is rigid or not, since the 649 g of this model may not be enough to keep it in place.

Finally, we end with the sale price which is really soft since it is displayed at 54.99 € on the brand’s website.
