As we reported here, AMD is offering components bearing the Starfield logo. It’s quite logical, since AMD is an official development partner of Bethesda’s game. At QuakeCon, the company was giving away its components in limited editions. One of them is currently on sale on eBay.

To celebrate its partnership with Bethesda, AMD has produced a limited edition of 500 components. The latter includes a graphics card and a processor. The graphics card is an RX 7900 XTX MBA, whose design has been modified to match the title. The processor is a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with customized packaging. Otherwise, the box contains PCIe power cable extensions in the graphics card’s colors.
The sale is currently taking place on eBay, and bids have already reached $2025 thanks to 26 bidders. The description indicates that proceeds from the sale will be donated to a non-profit organization. Mental Drive Inc. will receive the proceeds. The description states that it is an organization committed to “promoting inclusion, diversity and mental health awareness”.
At present, it would appear that this auction is the safest way to get hold of this bundle. The other lots have already been won at Quakecon. For the rest of you, a 7900 XTX can be had for just over €1,000. The CPU will cost you around €430 new.
