Starfield: AMD offers game-themed components

AMD is promoting the Starfield game in its own way, and what better way than with components bearing the title’s effigy? And that’s exactly what we’ve got here, a customized RX 7900 XTX, just like the Ryzen 7 7800X3D that accompanies it!

Starfield: a batch of customized AMD components!

RX 7900 XTX et Ryzen 7 7800X3D StarfieldAs we mentioned earlier, Bethesda’s upcoming game is being developed in partnership with AMD. This implies the presence of technologies specific to the reds. FidelityFX Super Resolution comes to mind. So it’s not surprising to see AMD components in the game’s image.

To this end, AMD is offering a processor with reworked packaging. On the side of the box, we find the title of the game, while the AMD logo, which changes from orange to white, is displayed on the celestial vault. The default background is grey.

However, it’s on the graphics card that the most work has been done. The card swaps its black fairing for a white shell. The latter also features colorful touches, with red scattered throughout, as well as markings here and there.

In short, the customization is heavier on the graphics card side than on the processor. Out of the box, the CPU is nothing special. As for availability, we learn that there will only be 500 of each. What’s more, these components will not be available for sale, but only via events and competitions organized by AMD and its partners.

As a reminder, the Starfield is currently offered with the purchase of a Ryzen 7000 processor or an AMD graphics card.
