After EKWB, it’s Alphacool’s turn to announce new waterblocks. This time, the brand attacks the RTX 40 customs with models compatible with many cards. We have blocks compatible with cards from Zotac, Gainward or Palit!
Alphacool waterblocks compatible with many RTX 40 customs!
On the menu, Alphacool launches new waterblocks from its Eisblock Aurora series. These are compatible with RTX 4090/4080 AMP Extreme Airo, Trinity OC and Trinity. At Gainward it concerns the RTX 4080 Phantom and Phantom GS when it is RTX 4080 GameRock OC/OmniBlack at Palit. Finally, a model for the 4080 Founders Edition is also offered!
After such a list, it’s time to see what the German brand offers us… Well, full cover waterblocks, as usual. These will cool the GPU, the memory and the power supply stages of the cards.
Unlike EKWB, the base is made of copper, of course, but chromed copper and not nickel-plated. According to Alphacool, this allows a better resistance in addition to offering a better finish.
In short, with its new blocks, Alphacool offers to underwater many cards. For the price, we must obviously count on a bill of about 160 €, but without certainty.
