Akasa launches a new heatsink with a mini format. With its small AK-CC6609EP01, the brand offers a model with an ultra-low profile. Indeed, the height is reduced to the maximum: 21.8 mm! As you can see, the aim is to be able to install a heatsink in the most compact cases on the market.

The program therefore includes an ultra-compact heatsink measuring only 87.2 (W) x 85.2 (D) x 21.8 (H) mm. The weight is unfortunately not known, however, given the dimensions, clearly, it will not weigh much.
The very structure of the heatsink breathes simplicity. Indeed, we only find a simple aluminum block in which are machined aluminum fins. You will have understood, here, no heat pipes, nevertheless, we can count on a nickel-plated copper base.
The ventilation is provided by a very small fan of 75 mm powered by PWM. Concerning its speed, it will be able to go up high in the towers with an operating range between 600 RPM and 3000 RPM. At full speed, the air flow reaches 23.54 CFM and the static pressure rises to 1.81 mmH2O.
Finally, the compatibility is limited to one and only one socket, the LGA-1700. However, considering its configuration, you will understand that you should not be greedy on the CPU side. It will only support a maximum TDP of 35W. For the moment, no price is known, nevertheless, you will not have to break your PEL to afford it.
