AOC and Porsche Design collaborate once again to give birth to a new screen. This time, it is the Agon Pro PD32M, a 32″ model particularly high-end… But also very expensive!
Agon Pro PD32M : a screen at about $1800 !
With this new monitor, the brand offers us something very high-end with a particularly sober and pure design… Particularly at the level of the foot, although some elements contrast strongly with this “Deutsche Qualität”. We will note in particular the presence of an RGB lighting at the back or the lateral headphone supports making a little stain when deployed.
Otherwise, we have the right to a monitor intended for players. In fact, we find a 32″ IPS slab displaying a UHD resolution (3840 x 2160). The slab is also very responsive with a frequency of 144 Hz and a latency of 1 ms gray to gray.
Regarding the display, this model offers a coverage of 93% of the DCI-P3 color range. With this, we have a typical contrast of 1000:1 with a brightness of 600 nits. In HDR mode (certified DisplayHDR-1400), the contrast will be able to reach 80M:1 and the brightness 1400 nits via a Mini-LED backlight offering 1152 zones! Otherwise, we find a slab with an anti-reflection treatment and viewing angles of 178 °.
Otherwise, the connectivity highlights two HDMI 2.1 inputs as well as a DisplayPort and a USB 3.2 HUB with four ports. Of course, the stand is adjustable in all directions. Moreover, it also has a projection system of the Porsche Design logo. Finally, a small remote control inspired by the Porsche dashboards will be used to navigate the OSD of the screen.
In short, a very high-end monitor with a price that is just as high, count on: $1800. Moreover, at this price, we would almost regret a curved slab.
