A380 Predator: a blower card without a power connector

On Acer’s Amazon store, we can see a graphics card. The card in question is based on an Intel GPU, the smallest of the series. Thus, the brand offers us a small Arc A380 Predator. A card that looks economical with its blower heatsink and its lack of auxiliary power connector.

A380 Predator: the return of the blower!

Acer Arc A380 PredatorThe card in question turns out to be a rather compact model with its dual slot format. From a length point of view, ditto, you will not have to change the case to house it since it measures a little over 24 cm.

The PCB is very short, about 17 cm, but the ventilation system adds length to the whole. In fact, with this card, Acer goes back to the old ways and uses a radial fan, the famous ” blower “. As a reminder, the fan “pushes” cool air through an aluminum radiator and ejects the hot air out of the case through the card’s bracket. Otherwise, there is no backplate, but the PCB has many Predator logos… An inexpensive way to dress it up.

For the moment, we do not know the frequencies of the card. However, since there is no auxiliary PCIe power connector, we can expect a non-overclocked card from the factory. As a reminder, a reference A380 runs at 2050 MHz boost while the memory runs at 15.5 Gbps.

The only thing left to see is the selling price of the card, but it should not be excessively high.
