The company MediaWorkstations has announced a new working machine. Its particularity? To be equipped with an AMD processor of 96 cores while being easily transportable via its suitcase format… Well, when we say “easily transportable”, we mean taking into account the weight of 25 kg!

MediaWorkstations announces a transportable PC in a suitcase format!

MediaWorkstations a-X2P

The machine in question is very original since it is an all-in-one workstation. It has a complete configuration with screen, keyboard and tower of course, all in a single chassis. If you want, you can opt for a configuration with six screens with resolutions up to UHD on each monitor.

However, what interests us most is the configuration of the machine itself. In this regard, we find a dual-socket SP5 motherboard that can accommodate up to two 96-core CPUs from the Epyc 9004 series. As far as memory is concerned, via the 24 DDR5 DIMMs, the platform can accommodate up to 3 TB of RAM running at 4800 MT/s.

The company indicates that it can install up to two graphics cards, M.2 storage and five other storage media. Finally, we have the right to a network part based on dual Ethernet in 10 GbE with all the functions of remote management.

In short, an impressive configuration in a transportable format. It only remains to know the price of such a solution which seems to be provided on estimate. Nevertheless, we would be curious to know the power supply.
