Observers have noticed that two NVIDIA graphics cards have disappeared from the brand’s online store. The cards in question are the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090. This isn’t anything new, as it has already happened with both cards. However, for the 5080—given all the rumors surrounding a potential 24 GB version—this is enough to raise an eyebrow, even though the cards haven’t yet disappeared from all retailers.
The RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 have disappeared from NVIDIA’s U.S. store!Â
This has happened before!
Currently, supply of the RTX 5090 is severely limited, but NVIDIA isn’t giving up on the card just yet, as a company spokesperson recently announced. As for the RTX 5080, the situation is a bit less clear, as rumors of a 24 GB RTX 5080 are growing increasingly persistent. The role of such a card would be to replace both the current 5080 and the 5090, although the 5090 hasn’t been officially discontinued.
With this limited supply—likely being diverted to AI companies—the cards are disappearing from search results on the U.S. version of the Chameleon store. This situation has occurred before, specifically in September 2025. It was during that period, in fact, that rumors of an RTX 50 Super launch were at their peak, though nothing actually materialized.
The company told a colleague that when these models were out of stock, they were removed from its website. They reappeared shortly after a new shipment arrived. It’s possible we’re in a similar situation.
Still listed in Europe!Â
While these items have disappeared from the U.S. store, they’re still available in Europe—including France, where they can still be found. However, when it comes to stock, that’s a different story. The same is true for stores in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
Of course, this is a situation we’re monitoring closely.
