Corsair offers us a new version of its Frame 4000D case with the Vault series. The latter is unique in that it is a limited edition and features iridescent paint finishes. A few other changes have been made to this series to distinguish it from the classic range. In any case, production will be limited to 1,337 units per color.

As you can see, this series comes in two distinct colors, with a purple Galaxy model featuring green hues and a black interior. The Nova model is more impressive with its lighter color palette, a blue exterior with a reflective finish and a white interior.
Other differences from the standard series include a plate displaying the case’s serial number. On the other hand, the control panel has ditched its USB-A ports in favor of USB-C ports, by including three ports of this type. For the power button, Corsair says it uses a three-pin mechanical switch, all of which are interchangeable. All that remains to be seen is whether or not it is a mechanical keyboard-type switch.
As we can see, the glass panel now covers the entire side surface rather than just three-quarters of it. The power supply cover has also been redesigned to better match the glass panel. Finally, the bottom dust filter covers the entire surface of the case and is accessible from the side.
Otherwise, there are no changes in terms of dimensions or weight, for example. The case still measures 239 (W) x 490 (D) x 486 (H) mm. As for component compatibility, it supports:
- CPU cooler: 170 mm high
- Power supply: 220 mm depth
- Graphics card: 430 mm in length
- Fans: up to 13 x 120 mm or 7 x 140 mm
- Water cooling radiator: 3x 280/360 mm 1x 120 mm
As for prices, expect to pay €149.99 for each color!
