TR300: new Thermaltake enclosures!

Thermaltake has announced its new TR300 Series of cases. This range features a mid-tower format, but benefits from compact dimensions thanks to a power supply unit that is installed at the front of the case. In addition, two finishes are available, with one model featuring wooden elements on the front.

TR300: new cases from Thermaltake!

Thermaltake TR300 TGWith this case, Thermaltake announces a model measuring 205 (W) x 467 (D) x 419 (H) mm. For a mid-tower model, it is quite compact. And yet it still offers good component compatibility. For example, you can install a motherboard up to ATX or a graphics card ranging from 325 to 410 mm depending on the depth and position of the power supply. Finally, for the CPU cooler, this model offers 165 mm of headroom.

Despite a power supply that is installed at the front and vertically, it will be possible to mount a 360 mm watercooling radiator at the top. In terms of ventilation, there are eight 120 mm slots. There are three or two 140 mm slots at the top, one at the rear and front, and three (or two 140 mm slots) at the bottom.

For storage, a hard drive cage is mounted below the power supply. It can hold two 3.5″ hard drives and a 2.5″SSD on top. Two other 2.5″ slots are located behind the motherboard tray and behind the power supply slot.

Two finishes are available: a WS version with vertical wooden slats mounted on the front of the case, and a more classic non-WS series with a mesh grille on the front. For now, only two colors are available: black and white. If the series does well, we can hope for new colors in the future.

Prices have not yet been announced.
