A Sapphire X870A Pure leak!

We remain in the motherboard sector, following the announcement of a new revision of Gigabyte’s B860M DS3H. This time, we turn to Hong Kong and the Sapphire brand, whose images of an X870A Pure have leaked online. The brand has now added a white, grey and silver model to its range of cards!

X870A Pure WiFi7: a white motherboard from Sapphire!

Sapphire X870A Pure WiFi7What these photos reveal is an ATX-format motherboard, featuring an AM5 socket and X870 chipset. The board features a sophisticated design, with large white and silver heatsinks and Pure markings all over.

The board offers full connectivity, with a memory section featuring four DDR5 slots. The card can accommodate up to 256 GB of memory. Otherwise, we’ll find a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot coupled with two other connectors, certainly one in 4.0 x4 and the other in 3.0 x1. For storage, we’ll have an M.2 in PCIe 5.0 x4 and two others in 4.0 x4. Four SATA IIIs complete the picture.

The I/O shield is well supplied, with seven USB-A ports, two of which are 2.0, four 5 Gbps and one 10 Gbps. USB4 type C is also present. The network section uses WiFi7 complemented by Ethernet, probably 2.5 GbE.

In any case, Sapphire is once again an active manufacturer in the motherboard sector. This is all the more interesting given the brand’s aggressive pricing in Europe. As a reminder, the B850M Nitro , which was the subject of a Retex, can be found for €150 at Alternate. Here, for this model, speculation points to a price below £300. To be continued.
