Announcements are coming thick and fast in the small world of custom watercooling. The status quo that seemed to be the order of the day for some years now is definitely over. After Singularity Computers, it’s Thermal Grizzly ‘s turn to announce a complete range of fittings for modders and enthusiasts.Fittings-Thermal-Grizzly

Thermal Grizzly fittings: an elaborate range

Thermal Grizzly is a newcomer to the field of watercooling fittings. The range is structured along 4 axes and takes up the DeltaMate name:

  • DeltaMate Fittings (the connectors themselves)
  • DeltaMate Rotary (rotary adapters)
  • DeltaMate Extender (rigid extension cables)
  • Accessories

In detail, the fittings include :

  • rigid tube connector with 16mm outer diameter
  • connector for flexible tube with external/internal diameter 16/10mm

Adapters :

  • 90° rotary adapter
  • T-connector

Extensions: 7, 10, 14 and 28mm – an extremely complete range for a first-time user. Our only regret is the absence of a connector for 14mm rigid tubing. This diameter is becoming increasingly popular. Perhaps soon? In any case, there’s plenty of scope for assembling a complete buckle with this range, and even for creativity. In fact, the brand encourages it, and gives a few hints in its advert (90° combination to create a rotary offset, for example). Thermal Grizzly insists on compactness and ease of integration in Small Form Factor configurations.

All components are made of brass covered with a matte black plating in keeping with Thermal Grizzly‘s style. Some of them feature a removable plate bearing the DeltaMate logo.Fittings-Thermal-GrizzlyPrice, availability

The entire range is already available on the Thermal Grizzly website. Prices are at the high end of the market. Expect to pay €8 for a fitting, €10 for an adapter and around €5 for a rigid extension. The German brand is aiming for the high-end. We can’t wait to get our hands on these new challengers to make sure they live up to their promises.
