In addition to its new MasterFrame 600, the Cooler Master brand also offers new Elite cases. These are divided into three different series, with the Lite 502 and 302 models. We also have the wood versions, 690 Wood and 481 Wood and the slightly more classic models 681 and 490.

Six new Cooler Master Elite cases!

Models 502 Lite and 302 Lite:

Elite 502 Lite et 302 LiteThis Lite version is positioned in the entry-level sector, so much so that even the brackets have to be torn off at the rear. On the other hand, the front panel is rather attractive, with a perforated panel as can be seen on these pictures. The larger model boasts a 320 mm-long graphics card support and a 160 mm-high support for CPU cooling. The smaller 302 Lite boasts 240 mm watercooling compatibility and at most a micro-ATX motherboard support.

The 690 Wood and 481 Wood:

Cooler Master EliteWith the Wood versions, we’re moving on to aquarium-style cases with a glass front and panel with no visible front pillar. More upmarket than the Lite versions, these cases already come with three fans installed as standard. What’s more, there’s more room for components, especially the graphics card, which can reach 39 cm in the larger model, while the watercooling radiator support is increased to 360 mm. In micro-ATX, compatibility is more limited, with a motherboard tray for µATX models and graphics cards of up to 30 cm.

Models 681 and 490:

With the 681 and 490, we have an inversion of formats, i.e. the larger case is compartmentalized, while the smaller benefits from a more classic design. In fact, we’re starting to see backpanel motherboard support with the 681, the larger model. Broadly speaking, we find a 360 mm radiator support in both cases, GPU compatibility of at least 425 mm in length, while the CPU cooler can measure up to 160 mm. For the moment, prices are not known, but we’ll keep in mind that the Elite series is historically positioned in Cooler Master’s entry-level sector. The bill shouldn’t be too excessive!
