Presented last February, Cooler Master has finally decided to launch its MasterFrame 600 case. Until now, we didn’t know much about it, but it turns out that this model is based on a modular platform that will allow various adjustments during the assembly process.
MasterFrame 600: the return of modularity at Cooler Master?
With this new case, the brand is putting forward a sober, elegant model, as can be seen. The case features two types of front panel, with mesh or hexagonal openings for improved airflow, echoing the brand’s logo. Internally, the case is compatible with all major motherboard formats. Indeed, support for E-ATX and XL-ATX models is mentioned. Likewise, there’s no need to worry about mounting your graphics card, since models up to 485 mm long are compatible. The same goes for the heatsink, with a height of 190 mm, so you can put in whatever you want!
Ventilation can also be generous, with a total of eleven 120/140 fans. Watercooling compatibility extends up to 420 mm on the front, top and side of the motherboard, depending on its format. Nevertheless, the case is based on the FreeForm 2.0 concept, which allows you to adjust and position certain elements as you wish. We’re thinking of the power supply slot, for example, which can be positioned at the top or bottom of the case. Last but not least, Cooler Master seems to offer different panels with different finishes to suit different tastes and styles:
- Ebony
- Eucalyptus
- Grey oak
- Walnut
- Stone
In terms of price, the case is starting to appear on Amazon for between €260 and €300, depending on the color!
