As we told you in this article, the RTX 5050s are being launched today, but unfortunately no tests are scheduled. In fact, to get access to some results, you have to turn to the manufacturers themselves, such as Inno3D. In China, the brand shares synthetic results on 3DMark, but also in-game. The card is compared with the RTX 4060 and RTX 3060.

RTX 5050: results from Inno3D China!

RTX 5050 synthétiquesBroadly speaking, the difference between the RTX 4060 and the RTX 5050 is very small in the synthetic tests. On average, the difference isn’t even 1%: in fact, it’s 0.26%… In other words, it’s all the same. The little RTX 3060, meanwhile, suffers from the comparison, coming in 19.04% behind in the various 3DMark tests.RTX 5050 jeuxIn gaming now, the RTX 3060 is beaten every time, although the gap is narrowing (13.22%). At the same time, the 3060 was released in January 2021, so the card is now four years old. Against the more recent 4060, performance is fairly close, although the 4060 remains ahead with a 5.35% gap. For the rest, we’ll note that the card tested by Inno3D was a dual-fan model that keeps the GPU at a temperature of 65°C. As for memory, the 8 GB of GDDR6 were contained at 66°C, a temperature more than kept under control. As for power consumption, this was in line with the card’s TDP: 130W, while the frequency reached 2.6 GHz. Of course, at $249, the card remains interesting, offering an attractive FPS/price ratio compared to the RTX 4060. Of course, everything will depend on the prices at which you find the cards. But keep in mind that, little by little, RTX 4060s will disappear from store shelves. And if you come across any left, they’re simply old stocks…
