As announced, Intel unveiled its ARC Pro graphics cards at Computex… But it went a little further than expected, to be honest. In detail, we discovered the Arc Pro B50 and B60, cards designed for AI and graphics pros. The compact B50 packs 16GB of VRAM, 16 Xe cores, 128 XMX engines, and offers 170 TOPS (INT8) with a power consumption of just 70 W, all for $299. The B60, on the other hand, targets AI inference workstations with 24 GB of VRAM, 20 Xe cores, 160 XMX engines, and 197 TOPS (INT8), for a power consumption of between 120 and 200 W. The latter is integrated into “Project Battlematrix” workstations, which can have up to 8 GPUs, or 192 GB of VRAM, at prices ranging from $5,000 to $10,000, equipped with Intel Xeon processors.
The B50 is perfect for graphics workstations, with a judicious price positioning compared with what Nvidia has to offer. The B60 excels at large-scale AI calculations, a real playground for complex models with particularly interesting upgrade possibilities.
After that, a few points to note: GPUs arrive in Q3 2025, with retail sales potentially launching in Q4. Intel is also working on software optimisations, such as support for SR-IOV by the end of 2025. The positioning is judicious, and it has to be said that Intel is positioning itself where both Nvidia and AMD have a hole in the racket.
Maxsun releases Dual B60 card

Finally, the surprise comes from Maxsun, which was announced along with many other partners. It’s not the name Maxsun that’s a surprise, but the card revealed by the Chinese manufacturer. The subject of several rumours, the B60 dual-GPU card with 48 GB of VRAM really does exist, and it’s a monster for Battlematrix workstations. This card is designed to allow up to four of these cards to cohabit in a station, for a video memory of 192 GB, allowing AI models to expand. PCIe Gen 5 offers certain cache coherence features introduced by Intel with CXL 1.0.
Last but not least, Maxsun seems ready to launch this model quickly, as its website has just been updated with this reference.
