G.Skill announces 6000 MT/s CL26 2×48 GB RAM

The G.Skill brand continues to offer memory kits for the PC world. This time, we learn that the company is unveiling a new kit with low latency and a frequency of 6000 MT/s. This new kit is intended for AMD platforms, as they incorporate an AMD XMP profile (EXPO)!

The brand is unveiling new memory kits with frequencies reaching 6000 MT/s via an AMD Expo profile. What’s more, latency is low, with a CL26-36-36-96. You might be tempted to say, “But G.Skill has already announced this kit! Well, yes, but quite right. In fact, the kit announced by the brand was a 48 GB set via two 24 GB memory sticks. Here, we’re talking about a set that goes even further: 96 GB via two 48 GB sticks.

These features will be available in several of the brand’s RAM series. Trident Z5 Royal Neo, Trident Z5 Neo RGB and Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB share these specs.

Finally, G.Skill shares some screenshots showing the RAM running on Memtest on two platforms. One is a Ryzen 9 9950X mounted on a Crosshair X870E Hero. The other configuration is based on a Ryzen 9 9900X coupled to an MPG X870E Carbon WiFi.

As for availability, we hear that these kits will start shipping in May.
