Alphacool, a brand specialising in custom watercooling components, has announced a range of new components. The company is offering its Core Distro Plate, components that make it easy to integrate a custom liquid cooling loop into your PC. The range includes several sizes and configurations!
Core Distro Plate: eight different variants!
The programme includes distribution plates that fit into the 140 mm or 120 mm slots on your case… More specifically, the slots on the side of your motherboard. The role of this element is to simplify the integration of your customised loop by organising the inputs/outputs by positioning them directly opposite the various waterblocks. In addition, this element acts as a liquid reservoir and may or may not incorporate a VPP APex pump.
Obviously, the dimensions will depend on the format you choose. Likewise, this will have a direct influence on the liquid capacity that the plate can hold. The smallest 280 size has a minimum capacity of 360 ml. The 420 model has a capacity of 620 ml, compared with 565 ml for the 480.
Similarly, depending on the format, there are more or fewer ports. Once again, the largest models are the best equipped. Count on between 8 and twelve G1/4″ ports depending on whether you opt for a 240 or 480 format. What’s more, on the 280 models, the threads can be on the left or right, depending on the case you’re using. Finally, you can choose whether or not you want a VPP Apex pump. Note that this pump delivers 340 l/h and has a water column of 4 m.
Finally, there’s the price, which ranges from €190 to €280, depending on the format and whether or not a pump is fitted.
