With the launch of the 14th generation of Intel processors, yesterday we learned of the availability of new software for Intel processors: Foundation Toolkit. This is online software via your browser, which therefore requires an Internet connection, and was designed by the creators of Benchmate and SkatterBencher. The Toolkit for your processor is based on Intel’s XTU(Extreme Tuning Utility) software. You will therefore need to have this installed. This Foundation toolbox consists of four main tools:
- system monitoring
- automatic optimization/overclocking via Intel Speed Optimizer
- manual process or overclocking
- software to check the stability of your settings
Let’s get started!
We’ve installed the software on our test configuration, which consists of an i9-13900KS paired with the ROG Maximus Z790 APEX Encore motherboard. You can install the software directly online by clicking on install in the bottom right-hand corner. Your PC may need to reboot once or twice. Please note that you may need to activate the ” undervolt protection ” option in your BIOS in order to use Intel XTU.
Once the software has been installed, click on start to begin monitoring and using the various tools. Here are a few screenshots of the various tools available in the Foundation Toolkit online software.
