Silverstone presents its new Fara B2. This is a new reference in medium-tower format. It’s an airflow-oriented reference with 11 fans and a mesh front panel.
Fara B2: it promises to breathe!
With this new case, Silverstone promises us a reference in mid-tower format. It measures 220 (W) x 470.4 (D) x 490 (H) mm. It’s also fairly light, weighing in at 6.6 kg, although internally there’s plenty of room for an E-ATX motherboard.
But don’t worry, compatibility with other components is just as important. The CPU cooler is up to 170 mm high. The graphics card is 390 mm high, while the power supply is 220 mm. We have the right to a HDD rack with two 3.5″ units. The latter will make it possible to integrate a 2.5″ support. Finally, there are two small 2.5″ racks.
Finally, the case stands out for its cooling. In fact, we have the right to double 360 mm watercooling radiator supports. As for ventilation, Silverstone indicates the presence of 11 fan slots. Three of these are located at the top and front.
Two others are accessible on the side of the motherboard tray, while another is on the rear. Finally, the last two must be located on the power supply cover.
Unfortunately, no price is known for this model. However, it’s not impossible that this is a reference with a final price of around a hundred euros.
