NVIDIA continues to expand its line of RTX 4000 graphics cards built around “ADA Lovelace”. Today we received a copy of the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Founders Edition card. If you have read our last test dedicated to the Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti Gaming OC, you can imagine that this RTX 4070 model will be dedicated to the 1440p definition. We will therefore judge its potential against the reference cards in 1440p definition. A little downside on our side since we were unable to get our hands on an RTX 3080, the only card we no longer have in stock in the lab. As soon as it is available, we will update our graphics.
Let’s start with some good news as NVIDIA announces the availability of its Founders Edition model for 659 euros ($599). No doubt that once again, we will have to keep an eye on the price/performance ratio, especially compared to the previous generation. The cards will be available this Thursday, April 13, 2023 with a stock announced as important and partner cards that will benefit from the MSRP rate.
