Biostar has finally launched its little B760A-Silver, a motherboard we told you about last December. Indeed, the schematic of the board was leaked end of 2022 so, are there any changes to regret?
B760A-Silver: the card finally launched by Biostar!
With this model, we find a motherboard in standard ATX format. The latter is equipped with a B760 chipset, so it will host 12th and 13th generation Intel CPUs.
Regarding the connectivity it has four memory slots in DDR5. They will support up to 128 GB of memory clocked at 6400 MT/s according to the technical data sheet.
The PCIe part offers a x16 connector to the 5.0 standard, the latest generation currently offered. It is completed by another x16 connector to the 4.0 standard wired in x4. Finally, two small PCIe x1 3.0 close the step.
Storage features four SATA III and three M.2 slots. Each port has a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface. Finally, a fifth M.2 is also present, but will be used for a Wi-Fi module.
Finally, the network part is driven by a Realtek RTL8125B chip when we have an ALC1220 for the audio.
As for the price, we find the card on the German comparator Geizhals. There, the bill ranges from 217.74 € to 232 €.
