NVIDIA is far from finished with its RTX 4000 series of cards. Indeed, now that the very high-end and the high-end are launched, we have to focus on the more affordable models. For that, we will have the RTX 4070 non-Ti and RTX 4060 Ti. In fact, recent rumors seem to indicate that they will enter production very soon!
RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4070 with AD104 GPU?
Of course, all these are just rumors, so we have to be careful. However, we learn that the production of new RTX 4000 is about to begin. This will concern the 4060 Ti and 4070 non-Ti. Thus, the production would begin in the second half of February with an AD104-250 GPU, the GPU of the future 4060 Ti. Then, it would be the turn of the AD104-251 to enter in production during the second part of March. As you can see, this time it will concern the 4070.
In terms of characteristics, it is rumored that the 4070 would have a total of 46 SM containing 5888 cuda core. The memory configuration would be based on a 192-bit bus for a total of 12 GB of GDDR6X at 21 Gbps. The bandwidth would be 504 GB/s. Finally, the card would use a PG141-SKU 345 PCB.
On the other hand, the 4060 Ti will use a PG141-SKU 343 PCB and its GPU would contain 34 SM, or 4352 cuda core. For the moment, this would be the only information known about this card since no information concerning the memory configuration is given by our colleagues.
We finish with the values of TGP supposed. Thus, the RTX 4070 would rise to 200W against 150W for the RTX 4060 Ti.
